Join the Gravitas Peak Wildland Fire Module (GPWFM) for a Pile Burning Workshop!
Learn and Burn: Join the module as they conduct a prescribed pile burn from start to finish on Saturday, April 3.
ABOUT: This workshop is an outreach to Front Range landowners mitigating catastrophic wildfire threat to property and forest. Please reach out to friends or family in the area looking to learn about pile and slash mitigation. GPWFM crew members will conduct the pile burn as experienced willdland firefighters explain operational tactics. Bring your questions about forest management, thinning, pile construction and pile burning.
COVID: All participants will be REQUIRED to wear a mask, maintain a minimum of 6 feet of social distancing during all hands-on activities and teaching exercises, and utilize appropriate sanitizing techniques.

GPWFM will host two separate sessions to maximize participation. The first session will be held from 9am-12pm. The second session will be held from 12:30-3:30pm. When you register, please choose your preferred time slot. Please do NOT sign up for both sessions.
Registration is limited to 15 participants per session.
