Project Overview

This location was selected based on the results of several hazard assessment used by the Cameron Peak fire Watershed Recovery Sub-Committee and partners, spatial analysis of current and planned post-fire recovery projects, and project feasibility factors.

  • Willow Wattles (26) - Use native material to provide revegetation and sediment storage

Project Goals

  • Provide opportunities for sediment storage, water quality improvements, and enhanced riparian areas

  • Decrease water quality degradation due to excess sediment entering the stream system

  • Use low-tech process-based restoration techniques to meet the project objectives
