Voices from the Poudre: The Cochran's

“As downstream users of the Poudre River’s bounty and as lifelong lovers of the amazing canyon it carved, we were pretty devastated when the Cameron Peak fire burned so much of the land we love up there.  Without CPRW’s efforts and expertise, we would not have gotten such a foothold on trying to help heal our family’s land and start rebuilding the ecosystem that serves to protect the river’s water quality day in and day out.  We are immensely grateful to this organization for the connections it makes between everyone working in the watershed and those of us who depend on a healthy watershed for recreation, industry, agriculture, and mountain or city living.   The hard work CPRW does on the ground and also in informing us all clearly benefits our community both in the short term and for generations to come.”
