River Cleanup Celebrating Poudre RiverFest

Spend your Saturday morning with the Coalition for the Poudre River Watershed (CPRW) for a river cleanup in Old Town, Fort Collins to celebrate the 10th annual Poudre RiverFest. Volunteers will be led by experienced crew leaders and all safety equipment and supplies will be provided by CPRW. Stay for the festival after the cleanup!

 

August 10, 2024 · 9-11am · New Belgium Brewing

 Advance registration is required and space is limited. The event will begin and end at New Belgium Brewing in Fort Collins. Parking is available at the parking lot just west of the brewery on Linden Center Dr. or, even better, ride your bike!

Who? Ages 12+ are welcome if accompanied by an adult

Description of work: River cleanups require walking along the river corridor for up to 2 hours, bending over and squatting down, and removing trash from the river and riparian areas.

What to bring: Comfortable clothing, layers, close-toed shoes, water bottle, snack, sunscreen, your own gloves if preferred

What CPRW will provide: Trash bags, grabbers, sharps buckets, gloves (if you do not have your own), hand sanitizer
