As we look back on the past 10 years, we are filled with pride for the incredible achievements we've made together. From tree planting initiatives to river cleanups, educational workshops to advocacy campaigns, each action has been a testament to our collective dedication to protecting our watersheds. The Poudre RiverFest, which started as a small event in the aftermath of the high floodwaters of 2013 by a group of local nonprofits, has blossomed into one of Fort Collins' most significant community initiatives. This success is a result of the hard work and commitment of hundreds of businesses, organizations, and individuals over the past decade, including you.
Thanks to your steadfast support, Poudre RiverFest has managed to raise an impressive $23,000. These funds have been channeled into vital restoration projects along the Cache la Poudre River. These projects have underpinned initiatives such as tree planting, cone and seed collections, river cleanups, and habitat restorations. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with our community in our shared endeavor to protect the Poudre River watershed.
This year's anniversary celebration will be extra special as we reflect on our journey and look forward to the future with renewed determination and enthusiasm. We extend a heartfelt invitation for you to join us in celebrating this significant milestone. Whether you have been a part of our journey from the beginning or are just joining us now, your presence and support are invaluable to us. We couldn't have come this far without you, and we look forward to continuing this journey together.
Sincerely,
The Poudre RiverFest Team
